Louise Read

SILLA

Louise is the Chief Financial Officer for the Channel Islands Co-operative Society. Prior to joining the Society Louise spent nine years with the Channel Islands Competition and Regulatory Authorities, including seven years on the Board. She has a daughter at JCG and joined the Board of Governors in 2017. Louise sits on the Standards and Finance & Property Sub-Committees and was appointed as Chair in June 2021.

James Willmott

VICEPRESIDENCIA

Con 15 años de experiencia en derecho mercantil, James es socio de la oficina de Jersey del bufete de abogados offshore Carey Olsen. Tras su paso por Londres, Bratislava, Singapur y Birmingham, asesora a clientes sobre grandes transacciones internacionales de alto perfil y asuntos locales. James se unió a la Junta en 2019 y forma parte de los Subcomités de Gobernanza, Bienestar y Finanzas y Propiedad, y su hija mayor asiste a JCG.

Chris Jenkins

GOBERNADOR INVITADO

Chris es Director General de TORA, una empresa tecnológica especializada en sistemas de negociación y carteras para instituciones financieras. Chris ha trabajado en el sector de la tecnología financiera durante más de 20 años, 12 de ellos en Asia. Se trasladó a Jersey desde Hong Kong con su familia en 2015, y sus tres hijas asisten a JCG. Chris preside el Subcomité de Finanzas y Propiedad.

Alison Morgan

GOBERNADOR INVITADO

Abogada corporativa y de telecomunicaciones/tecnología de formación, Alison es licenciada en lenguas modernas por la UCL, donde también obtuvo un máster en literatura. Trabajó como abogada de empresa en Londres y Bruselas para los bufetes internacionales Herbert Smith y Bird&Bird, antes de pasar a desempeñar funciones jurídicas internas en una empresa de telecomunicaciones que salió a bolsa en Londres. Posteriormente, Alison fundó el departamento de gestión del conocimiento del bufete de abogados Ogier en Jersey y tiene tres hijos, dos de los cuales están en JCG. Forma parte del Subcomité de Bienestar y del consejo de la Fundación JCG.

Kirstie Greig

Kirstie es médico de urgencias en el Hospital General. Se unió al Consejo de Administración en 2018 y preside el Subcomité de Bienestar. Kirstie también forma parte del Subcomité de Admisiones.

Ed Thorogood

Padre Gobernador

A Director of Mourant Governance Services, Ed and has worked in strategy, IT, change programmes and operational roles. Previously, Ed worked for PwC Europe and competed in the Clipper Round the World Yacht race. Ed’s daughters attend JCP and JCG. Ed joined the board of Governors in 2019 and Chairs the Governance and the Admissions & marketing sub-committees. He also sits on the board of the JCG Foundation.

Andrew Jarvis

GOBERNADOR INVITADO

Andy is a Technology Leader with 20 years’ experience spanning offshore Financial Services and Telecoms.  He specialises in Strategic advisory, Digital Transformation and Merger & Acquisitions.  He is passionate about Mental Health and is a Mental Health first aider.  He has 2 daughters at JCG and joined the Board of Governors in 2021. Andy sits on the Wellbeing and Admissions & Marketing Sub-Committees.

Farah Ballands

GOBERNADOR INVITADO

Farah chairs the boards of two regulated businesses, Equiom and HTCI, an HSBC entity. A commercial/trusts lawyer by background, Farah was a partner with offshore law firm Appleby for 12 years before leading the management buyout of its fiduciary businesses to private equity firm, Bridgepoint, in 2015. She was CEO of that business and subsequently of Ocorian until her retirement from executive roles in 2021. Farah was educated at JCG as was her daughter

Cedric Bird

Padre Gobernador

Cedric is a business advisor with over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of commercial and voluntary roles including business and product development. He is an investor in a local start-up enterprise and works at Jersey Business, advising owner managers on how to make better decisions and improve their overall business outcomes. Educated at VCJ, Cedric’s daughter attends JCG. He joined the Board in 2018 and sits on the Admissions, Standards and Finance & Property Sub-Committees.

Elizabeth Boleat

PARENT GOVERNOR

Educated at JCG, Elizabeth went on to gain a PhD in chemical physics from UCL and then a medical degree at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ school of medicine. She trained as an anaesthetic doctor and worked in London for a number of years. She has now returned to Jersey and is currently on a career break raising her five children, four of whom are at JCP.  Elizabeth currently sits on the Admissions & Marketing Sub-Committee.

Simon Milner

Personal Gobernador

Educated at VCJ, and then the University of Oxford, Simon is an Assistant Headteacher and member of the Senior Leadership Team at JCG. He is interested in teaching and learning about literature from the ancient world to the present day. Simon joined the Board of Governors in June 2018, and he enjoys supporting the progress and welfare of his students in this different capacity. He sits on the Governance Sub-Committee and the Finance Sub-Committee, and he attends the Wellbeing Sub-Committee.
